'Application Consultation' vs. 'Application Suggestions'
What is the difference?
This
is a commonly asked question when making a decision on the application
service you wish to purchase.
The
Application Consultation involves sitting down together, in person or over the phone, and going over everything that is on the application, line by line, item by item. I will help you determine what to include, where it should go and how to best present your information to showcase your achievements, honors, activities, awards, volunteer service and leadership roles.
This requires you to send me all this information BEFORE the consultation in order for me to look everything over and determine where and how to arrange it. I will then list each and every item in the appropriate categories by order of importance and highlight the "WOW" items to best showcase your accomplishments. When you arrive for your session, I will take approximately one hour to go over what has been done. This review will be done on my computer and any changes we determine are needed can be done at that moment so you can take the completed information home with you. This will also give you a formula to fill out other applications in the future. If needed, we will converse by e-mail or phone prior to your session to make sure I have all your latest information to create a stand-alone application.
This is time consuming and takes a minimum of 3 hours of my time. If I find it will take longer, I will call you to determine how you want me to proceed. Most can be done in that 3
hour time period. I am very determined to have your application stand out above the rest. This process takes
time to ensure the best results!
The Application Consultation is best for pageants where the application
is evaluated and may be part of the score. Call or e-mail for a
quote.
For
Application Suggestions, you will bring a first draft or copy of your application with you and we will spend 30 minutes to an hour reviewing what you have done and how to improve it. I will suggest ways to arrange the content, highlight "WOW" items and reword your accomplishments to truly make them shine. You will make the needed changes to the original. (I will not make suggestions by phone or email - that is considered a full consultation.)
The Application Suggestions session is recommended for any pageant system.
